Patrik ‘f0rest’ Lindberg has officially retired from professional Counter-Strike and returned to Ninjas in Pyjamas (NIP) as a Brand Ambassador. In his new role, f0rest will play a key part in supporting NIP's competitive and creative efforts, including co-streaming the organisation's Counter-Strike matches. This will include coverage of NIP's run to qualify for the Shanghai Major at the RMRs, where f0rest will offer insights and engage with fans. Additionally, f0rest will be streaming regularly on his own Twitch channel, where he will play games on the FACEIT platform, and fans will have the opportunity to participate in community events.

NIP also has plans to launch several exclusive merchandise items in the future, including a limited-edition jersey that commemorates f0rest’s legendary 87-0 streak, as well as a digital collectable. Fans will also be able to earn physical merchandise and virtual cosmetics by taking part in challenges through NIP's Dojo platform, which offers exclusive rewards to members.
Since its merger with ESV5 E-SPORT GROUP CO. in January 2023, NIP has expanded its focus beyond Counter-Strike. The organisation now competes in other prominent esports titles, including League of Legends through China’s LPL and Mobile Legends: Bang Bang via a partnership with SEA’s Team Flash.
