Hanwha Life Esports has kicked off its 2025 season with a major victory, claiming the inaugural LCK Cup title after a hard-fought five-game series against Gen.G Esports.
With this triumph, Hanwha Life Esports has secured a spot in First Stand, the first international tournament of the League of Legends season. The team’s top laner, Choi "Zeus" Woo-je, was named MVP of the tournament, impressing with his diverse champion pool and mastery of the Fearless Draft system. His standout performance came in game three, where his Aatrox pick proved crucial, finishing with an impressive 7/0/4 KDA in a tightly contested series.
While the LCK Cup is not considered a traditional split like Riot Games’ other leagues, this victory marks Hanwha Life Esports’ second consecutive LCK trophy following their Summer Split championship last year.
