Virtus.pro Signs "Perfecto"

Virtus.pro has officially confirmed the addition of Ilya "Perfecto" Zalutskiy to its Counter-Strike roster, marking the end of a lengthy hiatus for the former Natus Vincere and Cloud9 player. The 25-year-old star steps in for Timur "FL4MUS" Marev, who has been moved to the bench as the team looks to reset after a lackluster start to the 2025 season.

This move reunites Perfecto with Denis "electroNic" Sharipov, a former teammate with whom he captured both a Major title and the Intel Grand Slam during their tenure at NAVI from 2020 to 2023. The pair were central figures in NAVI’s dominance during that period and will now aim to replicate that success under the Virtus.pro banner.

Perfecto's return comes more than a year after his last consistent stint with a top-level team. His final official appearance on a stable roster dates back to April 2024, when he was benched by Cloud9 amid ongoing roster instability. Since then, he’s made only brief appearances at two qualifiers and participated in the LanDaLan event earlier this year.

Virtus.pro’s decision to sign Perfecto brings a wealth of experience into the lineup. The Russian rifler was awarded Anchor of the Year in 2022 and is known for his calm under pressure and reliable support play — traits that have been in short supply during Virtus.pro's struggles in the first half of the current season.

Perfecto's time with Cloud9 — alongside electroNic and another former NAVI teammate, Kirill "Boombl4" Mikhailov — ultimately did not pan out. That lineup never found its rhythm, and Perfecto remained benched until his contract expired in April 2025.

Now, with the signing complete, Virtus.pro has declared its roster locked in for the remainder of the year, signaling intent to bounce back in the second half of 2025.
