Mobile game developer Good Job Games has raised $60 million in a Series A funding round, boosting its total investment to $83 million in just six months. The funding marks a major step in the company’s mission to scale its latest title, Match Villains, and develop socially-driven gaming experiences with long-term cultural impact.
The Series A was co-led by Menlo Ventures and Anthos Capital, with additional backing from Bessemer Venture Partners. This latest round follows a $23 million seed investment raised earlier this year, signaling strong investor confidence in the company’s growth trajectory and vision.
Founded in Türkiye, Good Job Games is now focused on scaling Match Villains, its flagship free-to-play match-3 puzzle game, which has been gaining momentum in global markets. The company says the new capital will also be used to establish a broader entertainment brand anchored by “timeless, socially-driven games.”
“*Match-3 is already the biggest genre in mobile gaming, but the best in the category is yet to come,” said Ilker Ilicali, founder and CEO of Good Job Games. “With Match Villains, we’re on a mission to build the most entertaining modern Match-3 game out there.”
Ilicali highlighted the positive feedback and performance metrics behind Match Villains, crediting the company’s internal talent for its rapid progress.
“The glowing user feedback and exceptional data we are seeing make us genuinely excited and confident about what we’re building — all thanks to our incredible team with world-class talent, commitment to excellence, and an unrelenting drive to always improve,” he added.
