EA’s Battlefield 6 is shaping up to be one of the biggest releases of the year, with new figures revealing more than 600,000 pre-orders on Steam alone. Backed by strong early interest and an upcoming second Open Beta, the game has already generated around $35 million in revenue through Valve’s platform, according to analytics firm Alinea Analytics.

The upcoming FPS title has also amassed over 2.7 million wishlist additions, signaling massive demand ahead of its full launch. These figures place Battlefield 6 among the most sought-after games on Steam, currently ranking sixth overall in the global wishlist charts—trailing only Hollow Knight: Silksong, Subnautica 2, Deadlock, Borderlands 4, Light No Fire, and ARC Raiders.

The game’s momentum has been building rapidly since it was added to Steam last month. Between July 25 and 30 alone, the title saw a dramatic spike in wishlist activity, with daily adds ranging from 95,000 to 150,000 players.

Following a successful first weekend of Open Beta testing—where more than 500,000 players participated—Electronic Arts is gearing up for a second round. This weekend’s beta will introduce a new map and additional game modes, potentially drawing even more attention from the franchise’s global fanbase.

While beta participation doesn’t always translate directly into launch sales, the pre-order numbers and wishlist totals strongly suggest that Battlefield 6 is poised for commercial success.

Alinea Analytics also reported that Battlefield 6 ranked second in weekly Steam revenue charts and third in overall unit sales last week—despite being a pre-release title. These rankings reflect only one platform, indicating the actual numbers across consoles and EA’s own launcher could be significantly higher.
