Gen.G is teaming up with McDonald’s to host Campus Takeover, a two-day esports and gaming career conference at Marymount University on September 27th and 28th. The event is tailored to college students in the DC, Maryland, and Virginia (DMV) area, offering networking opportunities, industry panels, and interactive experiences aimed at educating and inspiring the next generation of gaming professionals.

Campus Takeover will feature keynote speakers and panels on a variety of gaming and esports topics, including mental wellness, inclusivity, AI, and Web3. The conference is designed to give students direct access to industry leaders, providing insights into emerging trends and career opportunities within the gaming ecosystem.

“We continue our programming with McDonald’s in the DMV region to engage college students on the opportunities within gaming and esports,” said Gen.G CEO Arnold Hur. “Campus Takeover is designed to be an interactive experience to connect with fellow gamers to learn more about our industry and build a fulfilling career.”

As a presenting partner, McDonald’s will be active throughout the event. The fast-food giant plans to offer free menu samples, host branded giveaways, and run an interactive booth on-site. The company will also promote Campus Takeover through its social media channels, further amplifying the event’s reach among students and aspiring esports professionals.
