ChinaVK Gaming, known natively as 威卡电竞, is a competitive esports organization based in Chengdu, Sichuan. Backed by VeryKuai, the organization has quickly become a powerhouse in the APAC South region of Apex Legends esports. VK Gaming is also closely affiliated with the VeryAPEX Community, which hosts grassroots and mid-tier tournaments across China and the broader APAC South region.
The team’s competitive Apex Legends roster was originally formed from former players of MDY (Midnight Dynamite), and as a nod to those roots, they frequently compete under the alias VKMDY.
VK Gaming’s aggressive playstyle and tactical mastery came into full global view during their 2025 ALGS Midseason Playoffs victory at the Esports World Cup, where they stunned international audiences and brought renewed attention to the underserved APAC-South region.
