Epic Games has announced the launch of the Fortnite Mobile Series, a solo mobile esports tournament for the popular free-to-play battle royale game.

Kicking off on December 5th, 2025, the tournament will feature players competing for a share of $1 million in prize money using Fortnite’s Blitz Royale game mode. The event was officially unveiled on December 3rd, with players from North America Central, Europe, North America West, Oceania, Asia, the Middle East, and Brazil eligible to participate in the first phase of the series. The competition will include monthly open events to qualify for the next stages.

In the early rounds, the top 16 players from each qualifier will earn prize money, with an additional Last Chance Qualifier providing one final opportunity for players to secure a spot in the Group Stage.

The Group Stage and Semi-Finals will showcase the best players from each region. The top three players from North America Central and Europe, along with the top two players from other regions, will progress to the in-person Mobile Series Championship.

Epic Games' Mobile Series Championship will bring together the final 16 players, all vying for a share of a $200,000 prize pool.
