Eggnut Games has announced its closure on social media, citing funding complications as the reason behind the decision. Established in 2017, the studio released narrative games Tails Noir: Prologue and Tails Noir during its operation.
Officials stated "Starting today Eggnut is halting its operations. This sh.. sucks. Unfortunately, due to persisting complications in funding, we are unable to continue the development of our new game that we've been working on for the past 2 years. We will use our remaining budget to give our team of 15 talented professionals some paid time to regroup, find new jobs, and hopefully continue creating. Eggnut will continue supporting the two released Tails Noir games.We've been at it since 2017, and it was great to have you by our side. The world is on fire. The game industry is f...
