Epic Games CEO Tim Sweeney shared his thoughts on the use of AI in video games. The incident began when a developer revealed that Steam removed their game because of an optional ChatGPT mode. Steam currently does not allow the use of AI tools in its marketplace. Epic Games CEO Tim Sweeney joined in the conversation and stated "Put it on the Epic Games Store. We don’t ban games for using new technologies." He further delved when users pointed out the copyright infringement and stated "A product that contains a lot of human made content plus some AI content can be protected as a whole, even if it some specific assets alone aren’t protected."
