OverActive Media announced that they signed a letter of intent to acquire KOI and Movistar Riders at the same time. KOI was founded by Ibai Llanos and the streamer recently left it and LEC slot went back to Rogue. The financial details of the deal were not revealed. Gerard Piqué stated "We are convinced they will bring the vision, enthusiasm and talent needed to continue building the project's success story that we started in 2021, consolidating KOI's leadership position in the global esports industry."
