"zews" to Leave Team Liquid

Team Liquid has announced the departure of Wilton "zews" Prado from his role as head coach, effective immediately. This marks the second exit for Liquid, following Casper "cadiaN" Møller's benching earlier this month.
The decision comes amidst disappointing results since Liquid's recent rebuilding efforts, which included the additions of Russel "Twistzz" Van Dulken and Felipe "skullz" Medeiros. Zews joined Liquid in December alongside Twistzz and skullz, raising hopes among fans for a revitalized roster.
However, the team struggled to fulfill these expectations, failing to secure a top ten world ranking. Despite a strong initial showing, Liquid's hopes of qualifying for the PGL Major Copenhagen were dashed, highlighting ongoing inconsistencies against top-tier competition. Liquid did achieve playoff appearances at IEM Chengdu and ESL Pro League Season 19; however, reports indicated that the atmosphere within the team remained strained overall.
Wilton "zews" Prado began his coaching career in August 2015 with Games Academy, transitioning to Luminosity in November 2015 until July 2016, followed by a brief stint at SK Gaming until July 2016. He then joined Immortals until November 2016 before moving to Team Liquid in November 2016, where he stayed until December 2018. During this period, he also had a role with Yeah from January 2018 to March 2021. Zews later coached MIBR from December 2018 to March 2020 and Evil Geniuses from April 2020 to June 2021, briefly moving to inactive status with EG until August 2021. He returned to coaching with O Plano from September 2022 to January 2023, followed by a stint at Fluxo from January 2023 to July 2023. Zews rejoined Team Liquid in December 2023.
