ALTERNATE aTTaX has officially announced its full withdrawal from the Counter-Strike competitive scene, allowing its current roster to pursue new opportunities independently.
The decision follows an earlier strategic overhaul in October 2024, when the organization dropped its existing roster in favor of signing the majority of players from the Reveal lineup. At the same time, academy player Florian "FoG" Gloddek was promoted to the main squad, signaling a fresh direction for the team.
Despite the attempted reboot, ALTERNATE aTTaX has now concluded that Counter-Strike no longer offers a viable foundation for a long-term, sustainable project—either competitively or economically.

“At the turn of the year, we announced our withdrawal from professional Counter-Strike—combined with the ambition to build a new, sustainable and ambitious project,” the organization said in a statement. “Over the past few months, we have been working hard to realise this plan. Despite our great passion for Counter-Strike, however, we had to realise that the title does not currently offer the necessary basis, either economically or from a sporting perspective, to set up a long-term sustainable project.”
The team’s recent activity was sparse, with only three recorded matches on HLTV in 2025, including a third-place finish in DACH Masters Season 3. They also participated in Seasons 52 and 53 of ESEA Main Europe but were unable to make significant progress in either campaign.
