Cyprus-based online gambling company 1xBet has been announced as the official betting partner for the upcoming BLAST.tv Austin Major, the latest flagship event in the Counter-Strike 2 esports calendar.
As part of the agreement, the 1xBet logo will feature prominently throughout the global broadcast of the Austin Major and across BLAST’s digital platforms. The deal signals 1xBet’s ongoing investment in the esports sector, particularly within Counter-Strike, and expands its growing list of high-profile partnerships.
This collaboration continues 1xBet’s strong presence in competitive Counter-Strike. In 2024, the company served as the official betting partner of the PGL Major Copenhagen—the first Major held for Counter-Strike 2. More recently, in February, it signed a two-year deal with tournament organizer PGL, securing exclusive betting rights for both its Counter-Strike and Dota 2 events until the end of 2026.
Beyond tournament sponsorships, 1xBet has also built ties with prominent esports organizations, including BESTIA and OG Esports, reinforcing its commitment to the gaming community.
The Austin Major itself has already seen roster changes ahead of the event. BLAST replaced Argentine team BESTIA with Legacy after BESTIA failed to meet the deadline to confirm player visas.
For BLAST, the partnership with 1xBet adds to a growing list of sponsors supporting the Major. In recent weeks, BLAST also joined forces with tech brand Blacklyte and in-flight entertainment company Encore. The latter marks a first for the esports industry—bringing esports content to commercial flights for the first time.
