BLAST to Have 16 Teams

According to recent reports by HLTV, BLAST Premier will have 16 teams next year. HLTV stated "The four new affiliate members will enter the circuit in time for the Spring Groups at the end of January and earn prize money from their tournament results. However, they will not be entitled to proceeds from the BLAST Premier’s revenue share system."

The closed-circuit setup in Counter-Strike, operated by ESL and BLAST, will be permitted until the end of 2024. In August, Valve made it known that beginning in 2025, tournament invitations must align with its ranking system or be based on outcomes from open qualifiers.
