Black Ops 7 is set to roll out a multiplayer beta in early October—offering a sneak peek at new maps, features, and operators before the official release.
Thanks to a listing on the Xbox Store, it’s now confirmed that the Black Ops 7 beta will kick off on October 2 for players who have early access. This includes those who pre-order any digital edition of the game or are subscribed to Game Pass Ultimate, Game Pass PC, or Game Pass Console. For everyone else, the beta opens up just a few days later on October 5, with the test period running through October 8.
The beta will give players their first hands-on experience with the latest installment in the long-running Black Ops series, showcasing a selection of new multiplayer maps and gameplay mechanics. Activision has confirmed that Black Ops 7 will launch with 16 core 6v6 multiplayer maps, along with two large-scale 20v20 maps, promising a mix of traditional close-quarters combat and expansive, tactical warfare.
As an added bonus, those who pre-order the game will receive the exclusive Reznov Challenge Pack. This includes immediate access to the SOG Reznov Operator Skin for use in both Black Ops 7 and Call of Duty: Warzone, as well as two additional skins—Stalingrad Reznov and Memory Reznov—unlocked through in-game challenges.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 is officially set to launch worldwide on November 14, 2025.
