Call of Duty Mobile has officially unveiled its latest crossover, joining forces with the iconic Gundam franchise for a limited-time collaboration launching in Season 6. The event is set to begin on July 2, 2025, and promises to merge futuristic mechs with fast-paced mobile FPS gameplay.
The crossover was first teased in a YouTube video posted on June 20, with the description confirming that the event will be part of Season 6, which kicks off on June 29. While full details remain under wraps, fans can expect more reveals over the coming days.
The official Call of Duty Mobile account shared: “We are thrilled to reveal that Gundam x CODM [is] coming in Season 6! More details [are] on the way over the weekend and throughout next week as we get closer to the new season.”

A second teaser video, posted to X (formerly Twitter) on June 23, didn’t show new content but did provide a firm launch date. In response to a fan comment, the Call of Duty Mobile team confirmed that the event will drop on July 2.
While exact content hasn’t been confirmed, the previous collaboration between Call of Duty and Gundam in Modern Warfare 3 (2023) and Warzone featured mobile suit-inspired cosmetic bundles. This has led to widespread speculation that Call of Duty Mobile may receive similar cosmetic skins, themed weapons, or operator outfits tied to fan-favorite Gundam models.
The collaboration comes during a landmark year for the Gundam franchise, which is celebrating the 30th anniversary of Gundam Wing. In 2025, Gundam has already made appearances in other popular titles, including Overwatch 2, as part of its anniversary campaign.
