Devolver to Acquire System Era

Devolver Digital announced the acquisition of System Era. Devolver Digital will pay $40m for the acquisition. An initial $22m will be paid by Devolver, $20m in cash and $2m in stocks. $10m deferred consideration, and $8m in bonuses. System Era was known for the critically acclaimed Astroneer.

Devolver Digital announced "The acquisition represents a strategic opportunity for Devolver to extend its reach beyond is core strength of premium indie titles, leveraging System Era's knowledge of expandable game style development, as well as its live operations technology and existing IP."
