Starting May 10, Electronic Arts' video game subscription service, EA Play, is set for a price adjustment. As reported by GamesIndustry.biz, the standard tier of EA Play will see a rise from $4.99 to $5.99 per month, or from $29.99 to $39.99 for an annual subscription. For the Pro tier, the monthly fee will increase from $14.99 to $16.99, or $119.99 annually, marking a $20 increase. Notably, these new prices appear to be already in effect for new members.
In June of last year, Microsoft revealed a price hike for the console version of Xbox Game Pass and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate. Similarly, Sony followed suit in September, announcing an increase in the annual subscription cost for PlayStation Plus.
