EA Shuts Down EA Sports MLB Tap Sports and F1 Mobile Racing

Electronic Arts has announced its plans to lay off some of its staff following the cancellation of two of its mobile titles, EA Sports MLB Tap Sports and F1 Mobile Racing.

According to GamesIndustry.biz, EA acknowledged the difficulty of this decision and expressed gratitude to the communities who have enjoyed these games.

While EA is canceling F1 Mobile Racing, the company remains committed to the F1 franchise, emphasizing that this decision will not impact the console and PC versions of the game even though the company recently laid off a portion og the Codemasters team.
