Evil Geniuses Returns to Roots

Evil Geniuses has officially reverted to its original logo as of June 20, marking a return to its foundational identity. The decision to restore the original branding coincides with the organization's 25th anniversary celebrations. Additionally, Evil Geniuses has unveiled a new jersey for its VALORANT Championship team featuring the classic logo, in honor of their 2023 VALORANT Champions trophy win.

Previously, the organization had departed from the original logo in December 2019 and subsequently modified it again in May 2020, changes that were not widely embraced by fans.

Chris DeAppolonio, CEO of Evil Geniuses stated “This logo means so much to our fans and this community, and we couldn’t think of a better time to bring it back than now as we launch our very first VALORANT Championship jersey and celebrate 25 historic years of EG. Like any team, we’ve had our ups and downs over the years, and while we can’t fix everything in the past, we’re committed to continuously improving as we plan for the next 25 years of EG.”
