FragPunk, the fast-paced team-based shooter developed by Bad Guitar Studio and published by NetEase Games, will officially launch on Xbox Series XS and PlayStation 5 on April 29, 2025. The announcement was made via the game’s official social media channels on April 10, following a brief delay from its originally planned March console release.

The upcoming console versions will support cross-play and cross-progression, allowing players to seamlessly carry their progress and compete across platforms.

“As a token of our gratitude and to make up for the delay, we will be issuing plenty of gifts to console players,” the announcement read. “These gifts will be sent to all newly registered console game accounts and include exclusive time-limited event rewards.”
The game was initially scheduled to launch on consoles alongside the PC version in March. However, a last-minute delay due to "unexpected technical challenges" pushed the release back. In their latest statement, NetEase Games thanked fans for their "continuing patience and unwavering support."
