Epic Games has officially confirmed that popular streamer IShowSpeed is joining Fortnite’s Icon Series, marking one of the most anticipated creator collaborations in the game’s history. After years of fan requests and months of speculation, players can finally look forward to unlocking IShowSpeed themed cosmetics in the Fortnite Item Shop.
Although Fortnite no longer assigns rarity tiers to cosmetics, special background colors are still used in the locker to highlight items that belong to major series such as Icon Series, Gaming Legends Series, and DC Series. The Icon Series is the longest running of these, first introduced during Chapter 1 with Marshmello’s debut.
Since then, Fortnite has added numerous musicians, celebrities, athletes, and streamers to the Icon Series lineup. IShowSpeed has long been one of the most requested creators, and Epic Games has now made that collaboration official.
