TL;DR
- Leslie Benzies denies allegations linked to the so-called “Epstein Files.”
- Former Rockstar North president says claims are false and relationship was consensual.
- Benzies states he never met Epstein or visited his island, properties, or plane.
Former Rockstar North president Leslie Benzies has issued a public response addressing recent allegations connected to the widely discussed “Epstein Files,” firmly denying any wrongdoing.
In a statement shared with Kotaku, Benzies rejected the allegations in full, describing them as false and misleading. He stated that his interaction with the accuser was a consensual relationship that lasted three months and stressed that he has no connection to Jeffrey Epstein.
“These allegations are false, I had a 3 months consensual relationship with this person, and I have never met Jeffrey Epstein, nor have I ever visited his island, his properties or travelled on his plane. Any suggestion otherwise is misleading,” the statement reads.
Benzies also made it clear that he has never had any direct or indirect involvement with Epstein, including visits to Epstein’s island, properties, or travel on his private aircraft.
Leslie Benzies departed Rockstar Games in 2016, following a highly publicized legal dispute with the company. He later founded Build A Rocket Boy, the studio behind Mindseye, a project that struggled commercially after its release. It is also important to note that references involving Benzies and Sam Houser originate from Rom Ransome’s personal account. These claims do not directly link either individual to Jeffrey Epstein or to the crimes committed by Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell.
As of now, no legal findings have been made in relation to these allegations, and Benzies maintains his position that the claims are entirely untrue.
