Mobile music game studio Maintain Altitude has secured $500,000 in a pre-seed funding round led by Hiro Capital, with participation from angel investors associated with Candy Crush and Guitar Hero.
The studio is developing its debut title, Beat Hunter, set for a soft launch on iOS and Android in 2025, followed by a global release in 2026. The funding will be used for game development, team expansion, and collaboration with music industry rights holders.

Founded in 2022 by CEO Oliver Moira and CTO Simon Prytherch, Maintain Altitude benefits from Moira's 20 years of experience in the music industry, including co-founding Black Butter Records, and Prytherch's three decades in gaming, having co-founded Chromativity and Fluid Games, and held executive roles at Kwalee and Gamigo.
