Lyon-based mobile game studio Million Victories has raised nearly $40 million in a major funding round led by private equity firm Haveli Investments, as the developer sets its sights on aggressive global expansion and scaling its flagship title, Million Lords.

The funding will fuel multiple growth initiatives, including international hiring and marketing expansion. With plans to double its workforce by 2027, the studio is currently recruiting for several senior roles, such as game director, live operations director, CTO, growth lead, and senior user acquisition managers.

A significant portion of the investment will also go toward ramping up user acquisition efforts in both Western and Asian markets. Target regions include France, the United States, Germany, and the United Kingdom, as well as gaming powerhouses South Korea and Japan.

Million Victories CEO and co-founder Benoît Ducrest emphasized the strategic nature of the partnership with Haveli, saying: “Haveli understands the vision behind Million Lords and what we've already accomplished. Their support goes far beyond funding – they're leveraging their team's decades of experience in the gaming industry to help us make smarter decisions, move faster, and ultimately achieve our full potential as a leading mobile gaming company.”

The firm’s flagship title, Million Lords, has gained traction as a unique entry in the competitive mobile strategy genre. Haveli Investments’ Principal Diwakar Rao praised the game’s momentum and the team’s commitment to innovation: “In a large and competitive strategy market, Million Lords is a highly differentiated title that is seeing exceptional growth because of the team's unique approach and unwavering dedication to the game. We are thrilled to support Million Victories as they execute their long-term plan to grow Million Lords on a global scale.”
