Nike Partners with BANDAI NAMCO

At EVO 2024, Bandai Namco Entertainment America Inc. announced a partnership with Nike, Inc. to collaborate on TEKKEN 8. Launching this Fall, the collaboration introduces digital and physical items that blend gaming and fashion.
TEKKEN Project Director Katsuhiro Harada, TEKKEN 8 Game Director Kohei Ikeda, and Producer Michael Murray presented the partnership, unveiling in-game content such as digital Nike Air Foamposite One sneakers inspired by characters Jin Kazama and Kazuya Mishima.

They also showcased a limited-edition physical Nike Air Foamposite One ‘Kazuya Mishima’ sneaker exclusively available to EVO attendees. These sleek black sneakers pay tribute to Kazuya Mishima and were offered for sale through the Nike SNKRS app, leaving fans impressed. Centered around two color variations of the Nike Air Foamposite One sneakers inspired by TEKKEN 8 characters.
One colorway reflects Jin Kazama's design, while the other features a darker purple hue representing the game's antagonist, Kazuya Mishima. These sneakers are set to be released as in-game items later this year, according to representatives from both companies.
