Team Vitality achieved two major victories over the weekend, winning both Counter-Strike 2’s Intel Extreme Masters (IEM) Katowice 2025 and VALORANT’s VCT EMEA Kickoff 2025.

In CS2, Vitality began their IEM Katowice run with a 2-0 win against 3DMAX in the Group Stage. They then defeated FaZe Clan (2-1) and Virtus.Pro (2-0) to reach the Playoffs. In the Semifinals, they beat TheMongolZ 2-0, and in the Grand Final, they swept Team Spirit 3-0. The victory earned them back-to-back IEM titles, following their win at IEM Cologne 2024. Mathieu ‘ZywOo’ Herbaut was named MVP, becoming one of only 16 players to have won IEM Katowice, IEM Cologne, and a CS2 Major.

In VCT EMEA, Vitality dominated with a 2-1 victory over Karmine Corp, securing a spot in the Upper Bracket Semifinals. After sweeping FUT Esports and Team Heretics 2-0, they faced Team Liquid in the Grand Final. Liquid led 2-0, but Vitality completed a reverse sweep, winning on Lotus, Bind, and Fracture.

With these victories, Team Vitality is well-positioned for the upcoming ESL Pro League Season 21 in March and BLAST Open Spring 2025.
