Vitality HQ is down.

The V.Hive on Boulevard de Sebastopol broken into on 17 October, during protests in France over education standards and the cost of living.

Vitality’s own statement “Today, the premises of our club were looted on the sidelines of the mobilisation on October 17. Fortunately, none of our staff members nor any fans were injured. On the other hand, our display windows were destroyed, and our trophies and computer equipment were stolen.”

The venue had closed for the day, which is why nobody was hurt.

What was taken

According to clips, people carrying trophies out of the building, gaming PCs being pulled apart in the street for components, and gaming chairs burning outside.

Vitality has confirmed multiple esports trophies stolen without publishing a full list. Some were identified such as the StarLadder StarSeries Fall 2026 CS2 trophy among them, won in Barcelona last month and sitting in the display case for roughly four weeks.

A screenshot surfaced of an eBay listing titled “STOLEN RARE VITALITY CS2 TROPHEE - STARLADDER,” located in Paris, with bidding at 1,250 euros and a seller account carrying no feedback.

What the V.Hive is

Opened in 2019 as Vitality’s headquarters and a public venue in central Paris, with offices, merchandise, PCs available to play on, and the trophy collection on display.

CEO Fabien “Neo” Devide’s stated “We have always wanted teenagers and people with modest incomes to be able to come play, reconnect, and share their passion at a low cost. Despite inflation, we have never raised our rates.”

“V.Hive is also the symbol of our maturity. The determination to show that esports is not just lived behind a screen but that it brings people together, creates encounters, memories, and human connections.”

“I just lived a waking dream with our performance in Shanghai, and today, thousands of kilometres away, I see a part of me go up in smoke.”

Vitality’s Valorant roster had just reached the Champions grand final in Shanghai when the news reached them.

What happens now

V.Hive remains closed with no reopening date while the damage is assessed. No full inventory of what’s missing has been published.
