French esports team Team Vitality has added a fresh face to its Fighting Games lineup with the signing of 16-year-old Tekken 8 standout Neia. The announcement, made on January 24, 2026, highlights the organization’s push to strengthen its presence in the Tekken scene.
Neia burst onto the competitive radar in 2025 with a string of impressive results that quickly caught the attention of the fighting game community. Her journey gained serious momentum in June 2025 during a training session hosted by French Tekken personality Kayane at Team Vitality’s Paris headquarters. There, the young player showcased her skills by defeating several high-level opponents, including a professional competitor. That performance marked the beginning of her rapid rise.
Before stepping onto the offline stage, Neia had built her reputation almost entirely through online play in Tekken 8. A strong showing at a local tournament convinced her to join BMS Esports, a smaller organization that encouraged her to take the leap to major events.
In September 2025 she secured 13th place at Ultimate Fighting Arena in Paris. Then came her breakout moment at EVO Nice in October, where she finished 17th out of more than 2,500 competitors from around the world. Along the way she eliminated several notable international players, including Tibetano, proving she could hang with the best. Later that year, in December, she delivered her career-best result yet by taking fourth place at Galaxian Explosion, including a win over French competitor Jodd in the top eight.
Neia is best known for her aggressive and creative playstyle with the character Lili. Her technical precision combined with unpredictable movement and smart risk-taking makes her matches must-watch entertainment. The style has earned her praise across the community and set her apart from many of her peers.
