French esports club Team Vitality and ALDI have announced a collaboration aimed at fighting online toxicity against women in gaming. The initiative, highlighted in a video titled “Des Failles dans La Faille” (“Rifts in the Rift”), focuses on the issue of cyberbullying within the League of Legends community.
The video features Team Vitality's women’s League of Legends team, the Rising Bees, alongside TV host Marie Palot and League of Legends shoutcaster Nox. It addresses the daily online harassment faced by female gamers, emphasizing the detrimental effects on their confidence, mental health, and in-game performance.

According to recent statistics, while women represent 50% of gamers worldwide, only 7% compete in esports. A 2022 Ipsos study revealed that 84% of those harassed online are women, with more than half under the age of 30.
For over four years, Team Vitality and ALDI have been committed to advancing women's esports, including the formation of the Rising Bees in 2023. The campaign advocates for equitable training and resources for women’s teams, aiming to create a more diverse and inclusive esports ecosystem.
