Unity is set to cut 265 jobs, equivalent to 3.8% of its worldwide workforce, and terminate a partnership with WETA digital video effects company founded by the director of "Lord of the Rings" as part of a strategic "reset," the company announced on Tuesday.
This decision comes in the wake of a challenging period for the San Francisco-based company. Unity recently made the headlines with their change in pricing. Following the backlash the company reverted the changes and the Unity CEO stepped down.
