The creator of the Nintendo 64 version of Portal has voluntarily removed the game following a request from Valve. James Lambert, the developer, released the game last week but was subsequently instructed by Valve to take it down from the Steam platform. In an update posted on Patreon, Lambert explained, "Because the project depends on Nintendo's proprietary libraries, have asked me to take the project down."
