Ubisoft is expanding the competitive landscape for Rainbow Six Siege with the announcement of the Rainbow Six Siege X Seasonal Series, an inclusive esports tournament designed to welcome both PC and console players. The new series, which spans multiple seasons, aims to provide more opportunities for players of all skill levels to compete and earn recognition.

For the first time in Siege's competitive history, the tournament will allow players from different platforms to battle it out together. Set to run across Summer, Autumn, and Winter, the Seasonal Series promises to make esports accessible to a broader audience.

The series will unfold in three main phases, starting with the Open Phase. This is where teams will face off in matches based on their in-game performance, with the top eight teams earning a spot in the next stage—Ubisoft's Contenders League.

Once in the Contenders League, teams will compete over two weekends in a round-robin format. The top six teams will advance to the Contenders Finals, where they’ll battle for the championship title and a share of the tournament's prize pool. Meanwhile, the two teams that fall short will have the chance to redeem themselves in the Promise Division Finals.

Even teams that don’t make it into the Contenders League will have a second chance. The Promise Division will feature two weekends of competitive play, with the top two teams qualifying for the Promise Division Finals. This final phase brings together the top performers from the Promise Division and the eliminated Contenders Division teams, all competing for in-game rewards, such as R6 Credits.

Regional prize pools vary, but in the EU/MENA region, the winning team of the Contenders Finals will take home a hefty €2250.
