Luminosity Gaming
Luminosity Gaming is a professional esports organization based in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Founded in 2015 by Steve "Buyaka" Maida, the organization has established itself as a major force in the North American esports scene. It fields competitive teams across a wide range of titles, including Call of Duty, Overwatch, Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six: Siege, Super Smash Bros., Fortnite, Apex Legends, Rocket League, Pokémon Unite, Brawl Stars, and League of Legends. Originally part of Enthusiast Gaming’s portfolio, Luminosity Gaming was divested in 2025 as part of a strategic shift by Enthusiast to focus on its core digital media properties such as Icy Veins and Pocket Gamer. Shortly thereafter, Vertiqal Studios, a digital media and lifestyle company, announced plans to acquire Luminosity alongside the YouTube network Omnia, aiming to strengthen its cross-platform reach across YouTube, Twitch, TikTok, and Snapchat.
