Phoenix Games announced the acquisition of PopReach Games India from Ionik. The company will pay $9.8m for the acquisition. The company is known for titles such as Smurf's Village, Smurf's Magic Match, Gardens of Time, Kitchen Scramble games, Kingdoms of Camelot, and War of Nations as well as the Brain Training app Peak.
Phoenix Games has a number of studios under its helm notable studios such as Upright Games, Sixteen Tons Entertainment, Well Played Games, Smileygamer, and the latest addition, Canadian developer Sad Panda Studios, welcomed in November 2023.
