Agora Gaming Partners, a newly launched global advisory firm, has secured $600,000 in initial funding. Founded by Pontus Mahler, former vice president at Global Top Round, and Jacques Benchetrit, former head of M&A and fundraising at Global Top Round, AGP aims to offer a range of services including publishing, equity deals, and fundraising specifically tailored for gaming startups and developers.
The firm will commence operations with six clients already on board, supported by investments from multiple undisclosed angel investors specializing in the gaming industry.

AGP's publishing services will primarily target PC and console markets, where they will act as agents and lead negotiators for indie to AA titles with budgets as large as $50 million. Additionally, AGP will serve as negotiators for IP licensing, expanding their role in facilitating deals within the gaming ecosystem.
