Marvel Rivals kicks off its first season on January 10, bringing exciting new additions to the game. The Fantastic Four join the roster, with Mister Fantastic and Invisible Woman arriving at launch, followed by the Human Torch and The Thing in six to seven weeks.
Three new maps, set in a New York taken over by Dracula, also debut, including Empire of Eternal Night: Sanctum Sanctorum, Empire of Eternal Night: Midtown, and Empire of Eternal Night: Central Park. Midtown introduces a new Convoy mode, where players escort H.E.R.B.I.E from the Baxter Building to Avengers Tower, while Sanctum Sanctorum is the setting for the new Doom Match mode.
Season one also features an expanded Battle Pass with 10 new costumes, skins, and rewards, including new designs for Loki, Wolverine, and Scarlet Witch. The Luxury Battle Pass costs 990 Lattice ($9.99), offering 600 Lattice and 600 Units upon completion.
In balance changes, characters like Hawkeye and Hela will see nerfs to diversify gameplay, while mobile Vanguards like Captain America and Venom receive buffs. Wolverine, Storm, and Cloak & Dagger are also getting improvements to enhance team composition options.
