BLAST has teamed up with Underdog, the rapidly growing sports gaming company, for three major events in 2025. The partnership sees Underdog come on board as the Official Partner for the BLAST Premier Lisbon Open, BLAST Premier Rivals, and the BLAST.tv Austin Major, taking place in the U.S. and Canada.
This collaboration brings Underdog’s presence into the spotlight through various channels, including prominent integration on BLAST’s English broadcast. The brand will be featured in bespoke segments throughout the events and showcased on both physical and digital assets. Fans of Underdog will also have the chance to engage in the BLAST.tv Fantasy mini-game, a feature that allows viewers to compete in fantasy esports alongside the action.
In addition to the digital and broadcast integration, Underdog will also be present at the BLAST.tv Austin Major in June, where the company will host in-person activations at its dedicated booth. This marks a significant milestone for Underdog, as this will be their first-ever participation in a live esports event.
Leo Matlock, Chief Business Officer at BLAST, expressed his excitement about the partnership, emphasizing Underdog’s role as an innovative leader in the sports gaming space. “We’re really excited about this collaboration with Underdog,” Matlock said. “They are a brand who’ve been a key player in the innovative and growing sports gaming space for some years. Underdog has chosen a blockbuster time to partner with BLAST ahead of our sold-out BLAST.tv Austin Major in June. Beyond adding to our live broadcasts and events, we are thrilled that our dedicated and committed BLAST.tv fantasy fans will have the opportunity to engage with Underdog over the next few months.”
