BLAST has announced a significant multi-year partnership with the Singapore Tourism Board (STB), confirming that Singapore will host four world-class arena esports events in the coming years. This new agreement cements Singapore’s reputation as a rising global hub for competitive gaming and live entertainment.

The deal comes on the heels of the highly successful BLAST Premier World Final in December 2024, which marked BLAST’s first appearance in Southeast Asia. Held at the sold-out Resorts World Convention Centre, the event featured the world’s top Counter-Strike teams battling for a $1 million prize pool and drew thousands of fans from across Asia and beyond.

Building on that momentum, BLAST will return to Singapore this year with its inaugural Dota 2 arena tournament — BLAST Dota Slam Singapore. Scheduled for November 7–9, 2025, at the Singapore Indoor Stadium, the event will bring together elite Dota 2 teams from around the globe to compete for a $1 million prize purse. It also marks the first of five major esports events planned as part of the extended collaboration between BLAST and STB.

In addition to live attendance, the tournament will be broadcast in over 50 countries and 21 languages, aiming to reach millions of viewers and highlight Singapore’s growing capabilities in hosting international entertainment productions.

Leo Matlock, Chief Business Officer at BLAST, praised the new partnership and the potential it holds for the region:

Held at the sold-out Resorts World Convention Centre, the event featured the world’s top Counter-Strike teams battling for a $1 million prize pool and drew thousands of fans from across Asia and beyond.

Building on that momentum, BLAST will return to Singapore this year with its inaugural Dota 2 arena tournament — BLAST Dota Slam Singapore. Scheduled for November 7–9, 2025, at the Singapore Indoor Stadium, the event will bring together elite Dota 2 teams from around the globe to compete for a $1 million prize purse.
