The Rocket League Championship Series (RLCS) has announced a new partnership with the Epic Games Store for the 2026 season. The deal, unveiled on November 21, 2025, makes the Epic Games Store an official partner of the esports circuit, marking a significant milestone as the series enters its tenth year.

Launched in 2016, the RLCS has grown to become one of the most popular and competitive esports circuits in the gaming world. Over the past decade, the league has attracted top-tier teams such as Team Vitality, Ninjas in Pyjamas, and NRG, solidifying its position as a major force in esports.

The Epic Games Store partnership is one of the few new sponsorships announced for the 2026 RLCS season. The league has a history of collaborating with non-endemic brands from a variety of industries, further expanding its reach. Earlier this year, the RLCS teamed up with trophy designer Thomas Lyte to craft the custom trophies and medals awarded to tournament winners, showcasing its commitment to elevating the player and fan experience.

In addition to the new partnership, the 2026 RLCS season is already underway. On November 14th, the first online Open tournaments for the first Major began, with several regions kicking off their Swiss stage. In Europe, Team Vitality and Karmine Corp emerged as leaders in their respective groups, while in North America, Spacestation Gaming and Gen.G topped the standings. South America saw Changuitos FC and Novadrift leading their groups.

The top eight teams from each Swiss stage have now advanced to the Group Stage, where 16 teams will compete for one of the eight coveted playoff spots. The ongoing RLCS Major promises to be a thrilling start to the tenth season, with high-stakes competition as the world's best Rocket League teams battle for supremacy.
