The Israeli Esports Association announced the passing of Shamil Abassov. Shamil Abassov was a pro player known in the eFootball community. The reports state that he was murdered at Nova music festival in Re'im.
The Israeli Esports Association stated "Shamil was an active member of the national eFootball community and participated in many tournaments, including the World Championships qualifiers. He was a beloved friend and a devoted member, who perpetuated the spirit of sportsmanship and Israeliness everywhere he went. Shamil was murdered by damned and bloodthirsty terrorists at the Nova music festival in Re'im, while celebrating life and peace. Before his death, he managed to heroically save several participants in the selfless manner that characterized him, but not himself."
