100 Thieves has teamed up with Google Play and Niantic, the creator of Pokémon GO, for collaborations during Pokémon GO Fest 2024.

Google Play will host various activities and experiences at the festival, including exclusive apparel drops and opportunities to meet 100 Thieves streamers. Pokémon GO is a free-to-play game that uses a freemium model with local advertising and in-app purchases for additional items. Initially launching with 150 Pokémon species, the game expanded to approximately 700 by 2021.

While Pokémon GO received mixed reviews upon release—praised for its innovative concept but criticized for technical issues—the annual Pokémon GO Fest is virtual and real-world events across Japan, Spain, and the United States. This year's U.S. event will occur from July 5th to 7th and feature activations by 100 Thieves.
