Global Reach and Continued Expansion
Perfect World continues to establish itself as a major force in esports tournament operations. After hosting the historic first-ever Counter-Strike Major in China in late 2024—which peaked at 1.3 million concurrent viewers—the publisher has been steadily expanding its presence in competitive gaming. Earlier this year, in March 2024, the company announced a long-term partnership with PGL to co-host Dota 2 and CS2 events through the 2026 season.
CAC 2025 Tournament Format
The CS Asia Championship 2025 will feature a double-elimination group stage. The 16 participating teams will be split into two groups of eight, with each group playing out its own bracket. The group winners will move directly into the semi-finals, while the teams placing second and third in each group will progress to the quarter-finals.
