Capcom Reveals REX Engine

Capcom revealed its new game engine codenamed “REX”. Capcom states that the scale and diversification of games have expanded. Currently, the games in development still use the old RE Engine according to Capcom. The upcoming successor isn’t meant to be a direct replacement of RE Engine. Instead, it will be integrated into the existing engine in phases. Capcom stated that they aim to create "a new level of engine that goes beyond the boundaries of in-house engines."
