Here’s everything you need to know about the EA FC 26 Beta, including expected start dates, game modes, how to get access, and the full release schedule for all editions.
🗓️ When Will the EA FC 26 Beta Start?
While Electronic Arts Sports hasn't officially announced the Beta start date, previous years give us a reliable window. Last year's FC 25 Beta began on Tuesday, August 6, and FC 24's Beta launched on Thursday, August 10. Based on this trend, the EA FC 26 Beta is expected to begin between August 11 and August 15, 2025.
The Closed Beta will offer selected players an early, hands-on look at EA’s new gameplay systems, with a focus on collecting feedback and testing server stability.
🎮 Confirmed EA FC 26 Game Modes in the Beta
Players selected for the Closed Beta will get access to a limited set of game modes, including:
Ultimate Team
Career Mode
Pro Clubs
Each invite grants access to specific modes, but all players will also be able to use Kick-Off for offline matches. Toward the end of the Beta period, EA may unlock more modes for broader testing—an approach seen in recent years.
📝 Note: Any progress made during the Beta will not carry over to the final release, and no in-game rewards are expected for participation.
✉️ How to Get Access to the EA FC 26 Closed Beta
EA selects Beta testers at random, but you’ll need to follow the proper steps to be eligible:
Sign up for EA Playtesting at EA’s official site.
Log into your EA Account.
Go to Account Settings > Email Preferences.
Check the box to opt-in for email communication from EA.
Add EA SPORTS FC™ to your Preferred Games list.
Choose your preferred platform (PlayStation, Xbox, or PC).
If selected, you’ll receive a Beta invite via email before servers go live. These invites are account-bound and cannot be shared.
🌍 Regional Availability
As with past years, the EA FC 26 Closed Beta will likely be restricted to the United States and the United Kingdom. Players outside these regions may not be eligible to participate unless EA expands availability for 2025.
