Korean esports powerhouse Hanwha Life Esports (HLE), fresh off their LCK Cup 2025 title win, sealed a new deal with Naver's streaming service CHZZK on January 16, 2026. This partnership brings exclusive fan-focused content and creative IP collaborations centered on the organization's League of Legends squad, aiming to deliver deeper engagement for supporters. The agreement completes the picture for the entire LCK ecosystem.
Every one of the ten teams now has a dedicated streaming home. Hanwha Life Esports joins Nongshim Redforce and Hanjin BRION on the CHZZK side, while SOOP locked in partnerships with the other seven squads, including heavyweights like T1, Gen.G, and KT Rolster. This development ramps up the intense battle between CHZZK and SOOP for dominance in Korea's post-Twitch era.
After Twitch pulled out of the market back in 2023, both platforms raced to grab market share in gaming and esports. Their efforts paid off with a massive joint broadcasting rights agreement alongside Riot Games, securing exclusive domestic LCK coverage through 2030.Naver gained extra ground by snagging naming rights for the league's main venue, now known as CHZZK LoL Park, complete with branded seating areas and a fresh operations setup. These moves help CHZZK stand out in a crowded field.
Viewership numbers tell a strong story too. According to Stream Charts data, CHZZK hit its all-time high of 779,677 concurrent viewers on November 9, 2025, during the thrilling Worlds 2025 grand final between T1 and KT Rolster. In the past week, the platform has averaged around 131,000 concurrent viewers, showing solid momentum heading into the new season. The rivalry keeps pushing innovation, with both services rolling out team-specific streams, behind-the-scenes access, and custom events. For HLE fans, this means more ways to connect with the team throughout 2026 and beyond.
