Prize Pool & Crowdfunding Opportunities
The official prize pool for PGC 2025 is set at $1.5 million (~£1.12 million), but there’s potential for it to grow even further through the Pick’em Crowdfunding feature, which allows fans to contribute. In 2024, the prize pool surpassed expectations, rising to $1.78 million (~£1.32 million). Fans are sure to be excited to see how high it can climb this time around.
Event Structure and Schedule
The competition will be split into three key stages: the Group Stage, the Last Stage, and the Grand Finals. Here’s the breakdown:
Group Stage: November 28th to December 3rd
Last Stage: December 5th to 7th
Grand Finals: December 12th to 14th
The Group Stage will see the 33 participating teams split into two groups of 16 and 17 teams respectively. The top five teams from each group will automatically qualify for the Grand Finals, while the bottom three from each group will be eliminated. The eight remaining teams will move to the Last Stage, where they will battle for the final five spots in the Grand Finals.
