The StarLadder Budapest Major will take place from December 11 to 14, bringing together eight top Counter-Strike 2 teams in a single-elimination playoff bracket. All matches leading up to the grand final will be best-of-three, while the grand final will be a longer best-of-five series.

The opening playoff matchups are confirmed:

December 11 • Vitality vs. The MongolZ • Team Spirit vs. Team Falcons

December 12 • MOUZ vs. FaZe • FURIA vs. Natus Vincere

Team Spirit and FURIA both reached the playoffs with perfect runs through the tournament’s third stage, making them early favorites to win the event and claim the $500,000 top prize.
