The Huns have announced the departure of rifler Munkhtogtokh "xerolte" Enkhbat, the second change to hit the Mongolian roster in quick succession after sk0R's exit was confirmed earlier in the week. xerolte had represented the team across two separate stints since 2024, and in that time he helped The Huns establish themselves as one of the better sides in their region and reach several notable international events.

A Familiar Story on the International Stage
Qualifying for those events proved easier than making noise at them. The Huns exited CAC 2025, the StarLadder Budapest Major, and most recently PGL Astana 2026 with just two wins combined across all three tournaments, a run that underlined the persistent gap between the team's regional strength and its level against the world's best. The Budapest Major in particular was a milestone as the organisation's first-ever Major appearance, but the team bowed out of the opening stage with a 1-3 record.
xerolte's individual numbers tracked that same pattern. Never one of the team's stronger performers, he struggled alongside his teammates when the level rose, posting a 0.90 rating against top-30 opposition compared to a 1.07 average rating overall. That drop-off against elite competition mirrored the wider roster, with sk0R having shown a similar split before his own departure.
A Core Being Reshaped
Losing both sk0R and xerolte inside the same week points to The Huns reworking their core after another underwhelming international showing rather than making an isolated swap. The team now has two spots to fill, and how they replace that experience will shape whether they can finally convert regional dominance into results on the international stage, or simply requalify for events only to fall at the same hurdle. For now, the rebuild is under way, and the next set of signings will say a lot about The Huns' ambitions for the rest of the season.
